What to Expect During Your Session
The Angel of Water system eliminates waste (toxins) and stimulate the digestive system. This system provides a safe, comfortable, and hygienic colonic experience by ensuring that the water temperature is maintained between 99 and 103 degrees — the optimal range for effective intestinal cleansing. In the process of colon cleansing gravity fed filtered water is inserted into colon and it slightly stimulates natural muscular contraction, consequently eliminating waste.. After the session is over the client is instructed to stay seated in order to release any residual water. Each session lasts 40 minutes with the option of a 60 minute session if needed. After the session is over the client can drain comfortably on the ergonomic basin, sitting up erect or leaning back in a lounge position to fully drain the colon. When finished, the client can rinse off using the basin sprayer and the towels and wipes provided. The client can then towel dry before dressing and leaving the privacy of the colon irrigation room. Rest sure that your session will be conducted in a private, confidential and comfortable setting.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Are The Benefits of a Colonic
Although limited medical research is available, our client testimonials include benefits to weight loss, no longer suffering from allergies, chronic pain gone, headaches gone, no more gas and bloating and more regular bowel movements. Most clients report a general sense of well being and an “empty” feeling in the abdominal area after their session is over.
What Is a Colonic Session Like
A session is a comfortable experience for most people. A therapist is available to explain the process and ensure you are comfortable. If discomfort is experienced, the session can be stopped at any time.
A disposable nozzle is inserted into the rectum and warm, purified water is introduced to stimulate natural bowel movements. The session is not painful, messy, or smelly.
The session last anywhere 40 minutes.
At the end of the session, you have time to empty any remaining water. This way, once you feel “finished”, you can carry on your day as usual without accidents.
How Many Colonics Do I Need
At Auburn Total Health, we remind clients that the number of sessions depends on the individual. Every person’s goals are different. In the very least, we suggest 3 sessions within 10 to 14 days. Following a healthy diet with plenty of fiber and drinking plenty of water will maximize results. We offer a package of four that gets your three sessions in with a follow-up session at a later time.
How Do I prepare for my Colonic
Do not eat a heavy meal two hours before your session. Increase your water intake. We suggest drinking half of your body weight in ounces of water.

What Should I Eat After my Colonic
Following your colonic you should eat lighter than usual. We suggest a smoothie or soup. Do not eat a heavy meal or anything that usually causes you to have gas or bloating. If you experience gas we suggest having hot tea and that will dissipate the gas.
